Who is responsible

The data controller is Pawsly. For any request about your data, write to dr0p3rdev@gmail.com.

What data we process

We only process the data needed to make the app work:

• Account: email address and password (handled by an authentication service, we never see it), optional display name and profile photo. If you use the app as a guest there is no email: only a technical identifier is created.
• Your pets’ data, entered by you: name, species, breed, sex, birth date, microchip, photos, weight, meals, walks, vaccines, flea and tick treatments, medications, vet visits, symptoms, allergies, expenses, vet contacts and the SOS card.
• Family sharing: if you invite other people, they see your display name and only the data you chose to share. Entries show who made them and when, and we keep a history of changes.
• Device and preferences: notification token, operating system, language, time zone, country, quiet hours and last access date.
• Error reports: if the app crashes we receive the type of error and the phone model, with no personal data.
• Usage statistics: only if you give consent (see below).

We show no ads, we do not sell your data and we do not track you across apps and websites. We do not ask for people’s health data: the health data in the app is about your pets.

Why we use it and on what basis

• Providing the service (account, health record, reminders, family sharing, notifications): needed to perform the service you asked for.
• Security and fixing errors: our legitimate interest in keeping the app stable and secure.
• Usage statistics to improve the app: only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• Notifications: require your phone’s permission, which you can remove in settings.

Usage statistics (optional)

After you add your first pet we ask if you want to help us improve the app. If you accept, we measure which screens and features are used, linked to a random code: we do not record your name, email, photos, health data or anything you write, we do not record your screen and we do not locate your device. If you decline, nothing is measured and the app works the same. You can change your mind in Profile → Privacy and data.

Who we share data with

We use providers that process data on our behalf, only for the purposes above:

• Supabase: database, account sign-in and photo storage.
• Expo, Apple and Google: delivering push notifications to your phone.
• PostHog (servers in the European Union): usage statistics, only with consent.
• Sentry (servers in the European Union): error reports, with no personal data.
• The people you invite: they see what you choose to share with them.

Where the data is

The app’s data is stored in the cloud in the European Union. Some third-party services (for example those that deliver notifications) may process technical data outside the EU, with the safeguards required by law.

How long we keep data

As long as your account is active. When you delete an item it stays recoverable for “Undo” and the history, and is removed permanently when you delete the pet or the account. If you ask to delete your account you have 30 days to change your mind: after that, your data is permanently deleted.

Your rights

You can access your data, correct it, ask for its deletion, receive it in a readable format, object to processing and withdraw consent. You can do almost everything yourself in the app:

• Export your data: Profile → your profile → “Export my data” (JSON file).
• Delete your account: Profile → Account → “Delete account”.
• Statistics: Profile → Privacy and data.
• Any other request: dr0p3rdev@gmail.com.
• You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in Italy, the Garante: garanteprivacy.it).

This website

The website uses no cookies and has no ads or analytics tools. It only stores your light/dark theme preference in your browser, which never leaves your device. The typeface is hosted by us.

Changes

If we change this policy we update the date above and, for important changes, we let you know in the app.
